Legal Aide

Legal Aid of Sonoma County is working with Jennifer Hainstock, the Chief Deputy of the County of Sonoma Office of the Public Administrator, Guardian, and Conservator to provide a presentation at different community organizations in 2024. The topic is how to avoid Conservatorships and remain in control. The goal of the presentation is to education the community on the impact of not having an estate plan. Jennifer will present on what happens when estates of living and deceased individuals lead to a need for County involvement and what that may look like. Our office will discuss the documents needed to avoid Conservatorship such as intentional estate planning and we will both touch on the Conservatorship process.
