DESCRIPTION:Artists of the Art Workshop of Western Sonoma County (AWS) are pleased to announce their annual Apple Blossom Art Show at the Sebastopol Center for the Arts\, beginning with a free reception featuring music and refreshments on Friday\, April 26 from 7 to 9 pm. The exhibit continues on Saturday\, April 27 from 11 am to 6 pm and Sunday\, April 28 from 11am to 5 pm. Come and view over 160 original works of art in various media created by more than 40 local artists. Admission is free with the purchase of a ticket to the Apple Blossom Festival.\nThis year’s judge is well known Sonoma County Satri Pencak\, an independent curator\, writer\, speaker and consultant. Satri will be awarding prizes for Best of Show\, Founder’s Award\, and first place in all categories. Two Popular Vote Awards will be decided by the public. Our gardening and fruit tree experts will be on-hand to discuss fruit tree planting and care and show our fruit tree nursery and 20+ year old apple espalier of 10+ different varieties. Learn how to build soil health and reduce waste at home through our composting and vermiculture talk at 1 PM. The sun will hopefully be shining as we celebrate and help build our green future together.
